Style v. Comfort: Which Do You Prefer In Shoes?

Drew Barrymore recently declared that her favorite shoes are Converses. She said that she prefers them to heels. In terms of being comfortable, she's probably right. Yet, is the love for fashion stronger than the desire for comfy shoes?

The New York Daily news posted an article yesterday about peep-toed boots. They were interesting, but the pain factor and uncomfortableness were excruciating. Click here to read the rest of the article.

It's a good point. To look "beautiful", usually involves pain, be it from Brazilians to eyebrow threading to wearing unpractical shoes.

I'm sure we've all met women who wouldn't wear sneakers unless forced to. It's either sandals, flats, Uggs, or heels.

If I could walk in heels and be comfortable, I'd wear them all the time. Shoes do influence an outfit. Hence, why people don't wear running shoes to interviews. Plus, there's something sexy about walking around in a pair of heels than sneakers.

Yet, I am a wuss for pain and gladly pick my sneakers for everyday things. I tend to save the heels and other shoes for when I have to (party, club, interview, etc)

Do you prefer wearing fancier shoes regardless of comfort level? Or, like Drew Barrymore, do you prefer to kick on Converses
